How to convert

Autogas Conversion

It is easy to convert any car with a gasoline engine. The costs of such a conversion depends on the amount of cylinders and the size of the tank and varies between 2.000 and 3.000 Euros. The autogas tank is usually placed instead of the spare tire below the trunk of the car. Based on more than 30 years of experience with autogas high safety standards can be guaranteed, which were also proven by tests of ADAC.

When converting to autogas the regular gasoline tank is kept in place. With the bivalent engine system you can run either on autogas or gasoline. The car always starts on gasoline until the engine reaches a certain temperature and then automatically switches to autogas. Switching is either done automatically or manually with a switch inside the car. Depending on the size of the tank and the efficiency of the engine, your car runs between 350 to 1.000 kilometers on one filling. To control the filling level an indicator is added in the central console of your car.

Important: Conversion shall be done only by professional automotive shops since it is too complex for regular people.
In any case the car must be presented at TÜV after the conversion.
